These pages (currently under construction as of November 2016) display some field images from a variety of studies. The gallery below displays some images from the camera on our weather station, overlooking the Eyjafjallajökull caldera in Iceland, 10 2010. Photos were taken in the initial months following the installation of the station close to the caldera, displaying among other things the rapidity with which the snow can appear and disappear at the site.
Subsequent to these images being taken, the station became completely covered with snow and ceased taking photographs as the solar panel could not function. The weather station has since been relocated to a more suitable location.
